XML editor for CUI files

Many AutoCAD users are not very happy with the internal CUI editor introduced in release 2006. The good news is that you can still use the good old MNU/MNS files to customize your menus. The MENULOAD command accepts the MNU/MNS files even in AutoCAD 2007.

If you are struggling with the order of menu items, copying/pasting and other operations with CUI menu files, you can also use a general (external) XML editor - as CUI files have XML structure. I am personally using the XML Viewer utility. Despite its name it is also a XML editor. And it is free...

You can download the XML Viewer here. And don't forget: it is always advisable to make a backup copy of your .cui file.
