Service Pack 1 for AutoCAD 2011 and LT 2011
The first Service Pack (aka "Update 1") was released for AutoCAD 2011 and AutoCAD LT 2011. Unlike the SP1 for AutoCAD 2010, no really serious bugs has been found-and-fixed now.
You can download Update 1 in 32-bit and 64-bit version at:
http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=DL15569492 (ACAD2011)
and
http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=DL15569738 (LT2011)
This update will not work in AutoCAD Architecture, Mechanical, etc. Wait for specific Updates for these versions of AutoCAD.

SP1 for AutoCAD 2009 - is it still a "Service Pack"?
The first Service Pack for AutoCAD 2009 and AutoCAD LT 2009 is now available on www.autodesk.com/autocad-updates
There are no really critical bug fixes in it - at least for me. The most important fix seems to be the potential drawing corruption problem on PURGE.
What is not clear is whether all the hotfixes which were published before this SP1 are already included in it. And the main confusion point is the name of this SP1 - Autodesk calls it "Update 1". Maybe this is a new naming scheme for Service Packs but all other references to this SP1, the file name of the SP1 and user experience is about "Service Packs", not "Updates".

AutoCAD 2008 Service Pack 1 - don't be surprised
Autodesk has released SP1 for AutoCAD 2008 and LT 2008 (and AutoCAD from Revit Suites). As usual, it fixes the main problems found after the initial release and includes hotfixes which have been released up to now.
For me, it fixes only two painpoints (I was not affected by any other problem fixed in SP1) - linetypes after zoom and multiple AutoCAD sessions after double-clicking DWG files. The original version ("SP0") displayed linetypes as Continuous after several Zooms. This seems to be fixed now.
I have found no problems installing this Service Pack - recommended. Just a note - don't be surprised when your Dashboard suddenly displays all possible panels. It is described in the SP1 Readme, just re-select the workspace.

Service Pack 1 for AutoCAD 2008 is coming
Shaan Hurley writes about the beta release of Service Pack 1 for AutoCAD 2008 and AutoCAD LT 2008. The fixes included in this Service Pack are coming mostly from the Customer Error Reports (CER) generated in AutoCAD. That's why it is important to really send these reports when you encounter a problem in your AutoCAD.
